WELCOME TO THE FGAMP

Full Gospel Assembly Mornington Peninsula (FGAMP) is a friendly family church on the Mornington Peninsula that is led by Senior Pastor Kenath Verghese together with his wife,  Angeline Verghese. Our first Sunday service was held on 11 April 2010 and we have seen the faithful Hand of God lead and guide us thus far.

The vision, or building pattern, at FGAMP is based on the early church from the book of Acts. Commonly referred to in our church as “The Four Pillars”, the early church “… devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” – Acts 2:42.

Our desire is to follow God’s Word wholeheartedly, be a worshipper and live as a true witness of Jesus Christ our Lord. We wish you a very warm welcome and pray that you will be inspired as you catch a glimpse of the vision God has called us to by further reading this space.

Our Foundation Story

THE FOUR PILLARS

  • Pillar 1 - The Word of God

    We will preach the written Word of God found in the Bible. God’s Word is always fresh, inspiring and life changing to those who embrace it! It is written in Psalms 119:105, “Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”

  • Pillar 2 - Fellowship

    We enjoy building relationships and fellow-shipping with one another through a fully catered Sunday lunch and various mid-week activities.

  • Pillar 3 - Breaking of Bread

    The breaking of bread, or communion, was instituted by Jesus to signify the new covenant of salvation that we now share through Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary. “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” – 1 Corinthians 11:26

  • Pillar 4 - Prayer

    Prayer is an essential communication tool between you and God. We strongly believe that prayer is vital in developing our relationship with Jesus, as we continue to seek His guidance and strength for each new day.
